Classes
There are various classes available to choose from. Each has been designed with different aspects in mind. The result of which is that those of all different ages, fitness level and motivations can find something that appeals to their own unique needs.
Taekwondo Karate
As well as learning sound basic techniques of kicking, hand strikes, blocks and stances, this is a fun, energetic class that involves extensive partner work to develop superior stand-up fighting skills. Free sparring focuses on stand-up fighting (footwork, blocks & striking). This class is aimed at those who want to attain good general fitness levels and competent martial art and self-defence techniques. It is suitable for most individuals.
Dragons
Dragons classes are designed with the younger student in mind. As well as having some fun during classes (by way of various physical activities and games), it also actively teaches them self-defence, fitness, discipline, focus, confidence, respect and the rewards which come from effort.
Wing Chun is a concept-based martial art and form of self-defence specialising in close-range combat. It is known for it's efficient and practical approach to martial arts training. Wing Chun offers an excellent method of learning devastating self-defence skills while improving health and fitness. The training programme in Wing Chun Kung Fu is a structured approach to self defence which is highly effective at equipping students with realistic self defence skills from the first lesson.
Mian Chuan
Mian Chuan is a unique martial arts system that teaches and promotes the use of internal energy which when properly cultivated is unlimited. Yang Mian practitioners are taught explosive power, steel hand and steel body. This is internal system Chinese martial arts.
Tai Chi - Chi Kung
A gentle class, ideal for those who want to reduce stress and improve their general health. Tai Chi and Chi Kung involves the coordination of the breath with various physical postures and motions of the body for health, balance, energy and general well-being.
